Does STRESS play havoc with your hair & scalp?

January 5th, 2009

Stress is blamed for most Hair & Scalp conditions, from dermatitis and psoriasis, to hair loss (alopecia).  This is an issue that needs to be addressed, as the true problem is not the stress itself but how you handle the stress.  The Hair loss, dermatitis, and even cuticle damage are outer symptoms that are usually managed by medication.  These medications have side-effects that can often be as bad or worse than the condition they are being used for.  There are other methods of handling these outer conditions www.kerricekerrice.com and they can range from Supplements and Tissue Salts, to Hair Skin and Scalp treatments and Tonics.  Kerrice’s Book of Supplements can also give you all the information you will need to bring your body back to perfect health.

As for the way you handle stress, there are natural remedies to help with the symptoms of stress while you learn coping techniques.  In our next blog we will give you some of the best techniques used today.  Always remenber that your body is like a machine; when properly maintained and kept in a healthy environment it will work perfectly for you.  A positive outlook on life, learning to handle your stresses, eating well, and taking the right supplements all help to relieve most Hair and Scalp conditions.  This being said though, everyone’s case is different and we all cope differently with our stresses.  Most of the time we find it difficult to live that perfect stress-free lifestyle.  Medications, genetics, physical, mental, and emotional stresses, poor health, hormone changes, and the environment all play a role in the condition of your Hair and Scalp.

Our products www.kerricekerrice.com and advice help bring relief to those with conditions such as alopecia, male and female pattern baldness, cuticle damage, oily and dry hair and scalp, and much more.  Write and tell us about your Hair and Scalp conditions and we will do our best to help.  For your reference, we have put pictures of the different conditions at www.kerricekerrice.com.  We would love to hear your stories and hopefully help you solve those annoying Hair and Scalp conditions.

For all those clients we have heard from and helped in the past we thank you.  And we look forward to being able to help all of our new clients.

Have a Great Hair Day

Kind regards,

Is it easier for celebs to have great looking hair?

January 5th, 2009

Yes & No

Yes if you are rich enough and have your own hairdresser with you at all times.  They have wigs to make their hair a different colour and style.  They have extensions to make their hair longer and thicker.  These extensions can also give them different colours us like foils. They can change at any time.

When I am hairdressing I have many clients who come to me wondering why celebs change their hair colour from black to platinum blonde to red and back to platinum blonde again.  And all this in two weeks.  I have to tell them that if this was attempted in a salon, the hair would be brittle, damaged and break off and/or fall out.

You can achieve different looks with hair pieces, wigs, foils, extension, proper straighteners and curling irons, and blow waving.  Knowing how to do it or how to ask your hairdresser allows you to keep your hair looking beautiful at a reasonable price.  And you don’t need to spend thousands.
